Gorget Ballistic Neck Protection Level 2 DSTU MultiCam

The ballistic armour panels are manufactured to industry standards and provide Level 2 protection according to DSTU (Ukrainian State Standard) 8782:2018.

The ballistic panels withstand:

• 9×18 mm (9 mm Makarov – bullet velocity 335±10 m/s)
• 9×19 mm (9 mm Luger – bullet velocity 335±10 m/s)
• 7.62×25 mm (57-H-134c Tokarev – bullet velocity 430±15 m/s)

Dimensions & Protection Area:

• Front plate: 437×210 mm
• Back panel: 403x288 mm
• Side plates (2 pcs): 100х230 mm each
• Total protection area: provides comprehensive protection for the neck, throat, and collarbones

Ballistic Panel Materials:

Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE): Manufactured by “Dyneema”, USA. This material is recognised for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, offering outstanding ballistic protection.

Pointex AP (Kevlar): Known for its ability to absorb impact energy and minimise the risk of injury from bullets and fragments.

Cordura: Ensures material integrity and moisture resistance, extending the product’s lifespan.

Our ballistic neck protectors are made from top-quality materials - “Dyneema” from the USA and synthetic Kevlar “Pointex AP” from Italy.

Intended use:

• Designed for: The ballistic gorget is designed for military personnel operating in combat zones where there is a risk of bullets or fragments striking the neck area. It is especially useful for infantry soldiers and personnel involved in security or patrol missions.
• Task types: The neck ballistic protection is effective in shielding vital areas from fragments and bullets, particularly during urban combat or operations conducted in confined spaces.
• Why it’s needed: The gorget provides an essential layer of protection for an area typically left exposed by standard body armour, reducing the risk of potentially fatal injuries.
• Not suitable for: Not recommended for missions where high mobility is crucial, such as reconnaissance or airborne operations that require maximum flexibility and freedom of movement.
• Benefits: The gorget allows soldiers to focus on their mission without unnecessary concern for their safety, while significantly increasing survival chances in case of fragment or bullet impact to the neck area.
