Tactical Seat Mat with Ballistic Panel Level 2 DSTU MultiCam

The ballistic armour panel is manufactured to industry standards and provides Level 2 protection according to DSTU (Ukrainian State Standard) 8782:2018.

The ballistic panel withstands:

• 9×18 mm (9 mm Makarov – bullet velocity 335±10 m/s)
• 9×19 mm (9 mm Luger – bullet velocity 335±10 m/s)
• 7.62×25 mm (57-H-134c Tokarev – bullet velocity 430±15 m/s)

Dimensions & Protection Area:

• Front panel: 280х380 mm
• Total protection area: provides buttocks protection

Ballistic Panel Materials:

Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE): Manufactured by “Dyneema”, USA. This material is recognised for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, offering outstanding ballistic protection.

Pointex AP (Kevlar): Known for its ability to absorb impact energy and minimise the risk of injury from bullets and fragments.

Oxford: Ensures material integrity and moisture resistance, extending the product’s lifespan.

Our ballistic protection is made from top-quality materials - “Dyneema” from the USA and synthetic Kevlar “Pointex AP” from Italy.

Carrier material:

Cordura: Adds extra durability and water resistance, and is also tear-resistant.

Intended use:

• Designed for: This product is designed for soldiers who spend extended periods sitting or kneeling, such as vehicle operators, anti-aircraft system operators, or snipers during ambush missions.
• Task types: Ideal for use in vehicles, trenches, or during prolonged ambushes. It provides additional protection for the lower body from fragments or small-arms fire coming from below.
• Why it’s needed: The ballistic seat mat offers an extra layer of protection while ensuring comfort and safety in situations where standard body armour may not provide sufficient coverage.
• Not suitable for: This type of protection is not recommended for active combat scenarios where high mobility is more critical than static protection.
• Benefits: The seat mat not only enhances comfort during long missions but also increases protection for the buttocks.
