Abdomen Protection with Ballistic Panel Level 1 DSTU Pixel

The ballistic armour panel is manufactured to industry standards and provides Level 1 protection according to DSTU (Ukrainian State Standard) 8782:2018.

The ballistic panel withstands:

• 9×18 mm (9 mm Makarov – bullet velocity 335±10 m/s)
• 9×19 mm (9 mm Luger – bullet velocity 335±10 m/s)

Ballistic Panel Materials:

Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE): Manufactured by “Dyneema”, USA. This material is recognised for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, offering outstanding ballistic protection.

Pointex AP (Kevlar): Known for its ability to absorb impact energy and minimise the risk of injury from bullets and fragments.

Oxford: Ensures material integrity and moisture resistance, extending the product’s lifespan.

Our ballistic protection is made from top-quality materials - “Dyneema” from the USA and synthetic Kevlar “Pointex AP” from Italy.

Intended use:

• Designed for: The abdominal protection is designed for soldiers who require additional coverage for the front of the body. It provides convenient access to essential items such as ammunition, medical supplies, or observation tools. It is suitable for infantry, medics, snipers, and personnel engaged in reconnaissance missions.
• Task types: Ideal for missions where quick access to key items is essential. Useful during rapid movement, urban manoeuvres, defensive operations, or extended patrols.
• Why it’s needed: The abdominal protection allows soldiers to carry a small supply of essential resources without the need for a large backpack, maintaining both high mobility and protection.
• Not suitable for: Not recommended for missions where stealth and minimal load are critical, such as combat swimmers or special forces conducting underwater operations.
• Benefits: Provides ease, speed, and flexibility in manoeuvring, additional protection, and organised storage of essential items, enhancing a soldier’s efficiency on the battlefield.
